Aloha Friday...Valentines

It's Aloha Friday over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog! After that, go relax because today is Friday!!

My question for this week is:

What will you get your spouse for Valentine's Day?

We will go to a nice dinner and I will get him a sweet card and his favorite Valentine candy.  I have never been very creative with this holiday and am hoping to get ideas from your responses.  Please don't forget to comment below...
Happy Friday everyone!

  2. I have been doing the 12 days of Valentines. I started on the 3rd and gave him a candle for Day #1, Two heart shaped lollipops for day #2, I am giving him three valentines inspired golf balls (I had them left over form last year) for today (they say things like "I love your dimples")... so I am doing every day. Tomorrow we are going to a Chocolate festival this Saturday so I'm going to give him 4 specialty chocolates from there.

Then I am making a candle light dinner for us on the 12th (we are both taking off work that day). None of the 7 kids will be at the house that day, so we are FREE!!

    Happy Aloha Friday!

  3. OMG Valentines was always the hardest to by for a man. Card? That's a given, but after that I'm stumped. I usually give him a really nice dinner with a nice bottle of wine. If there's a CD he's wanting I usually get him that, but my husband is VERY hard to buy for & the bugger doesn't give hints. ~haha~ Following you!

  4. i wanted to surprise hubby with flowers last year. i won a gift certificate to a flowershop online, get it delivered to his work for everyone to see :) ... but we were so busy last year valentine, we were in michigan, it didn't happen.
I can't surprise him with that this year without him finding out in advance. so i think a card should do for now.

  5. I'm still trying to figure it all out. Hee ruined my first thought ; I was going to cook him Shrimp Scampi (I don't eat seafood, but he does) -- but he ruined it because he said I HAVE to stay outta the kitchen Valentine's Day so that he can cook for me. :)

Also, if you don't mind, please enter my Holey Donuts giveaway: You can win and so can I:

  8. well I was not sure at first until I found this card (and that is all at the moment) with OUR song in it!! I didn't even read the card or anything I just opened it up and it was playing our song... so I had to get it. We usually don't do V-Day I am a strong believer that Love should be showed in everyday life not just once a year and I expressed this my Lovely man and he agrees but for the first time in 12 years, he is actually wanting to do something for Valentines Day!!! SO I am in a desperate search for something.. other then my undivided love and appreciation for him...
